I have a PhD in a physical science and am exploring options outside of academia. I'm particularly interested in working with start-ups or entrepreneurs but don't know where to start. Consulting always comes up as an option, but having spent so long in school I haven't made any start-up or entrepreneur contacts. Any advice?
